Grief: Misunderstood and Re-visioned

The conservative statistics of stillbirth in the U.S. show that approximately seven babies die every two hours of every day of every year in the U.S. alone. The Grief and Creativity project was created in 1999 as a response to grief following stillbirth, and to draw attention more widely to how the trauma of stillbirth is little discussed or understood. Through exploring how creativity could be used in the face of grief, the project then grew to support people in their particular grief experience whatever the circumstances.
